THE BRIEF
As the Grand Hyatt Kuwait is located within the luxurious 360 lifestyle destination in Kuwait, Meraki & Modus were engaged to create an all-day F&B concept that would be just as appealing to mall visitors and city residents as it would hotel guests. As the location for the concept was adjacent to the hotel’s connection to the mall, it was imperative that the concept fulfill different needs and appeal to a broader audience. With several new additions coming to the greater development, including a tennis academy and extension to the retail space, there was great opportunity for a brand that would span across target markets while adding to the buzzing and dynamic F&B landscape of Kuwait.
OUR APPROACH
As Brasseries are well-known for their casual, all day appeal as well as their evolution from traditional spaces to more contemporary, Meraki and Modus set out to create a French Brasserie with a unique modern flair.
Drawing up global and regional lifestyle shifts, Liberté takes the modern French brasserie and further reimagines the experience through innovation and a fresh female energy - appealing to the modern Kuwaiti guest and tourist alike. Meraki & Modus developed a full concept story, naming, design direction, menu brief, full brand as well as the marketing and engagement strategy for the concept.
THE OUTCOME
Liberté is set to launch with the opening of Grand Hyatt Kuwait in 2022. The concept is fresh, young, dynamic and engaging. An all-day concept that can be enjoyed equally as a brunch spot and as a must-visit dinner venue.
