THE BRIEF

Grand Hyatt Kuwait and the Tamdeen Group were looking to create a narrative and brand for their spa concept and wellness amenities at the hotel that included a gym and other facilities. The vision was to create the ultimate urban getaway within Kuwait City for both hotel guests and city residents to enjoy. With a beautiful design, product partnerships and a menu of services in place, the client briefed Meraki & Modus to develop a relevant and captivating, name, brand story, strategy, guest experience and identity for the hotel’s spa.

OUR APPROACH

Wellness and the role it is playing in people’s daily lives has greatly evolved. The Grand Hyatt Kuwait’s spa and wellness facilities had been created to be an urban sanctuary within a busy city.

Noor Spa is Kuwait’s urban sanctuary for the mind, body and soul. With a name meaning light in Arabic, the brand is an oasis for all the senses - having everything to relax and rejuvenate city residents and visitors.

Meraki & Modus worked with the Grand Hyatt Kuwait team to develop a name, brand narrative and brand identity that amplified the full offering.  We also created a guest journey made up of ownable moments and amenities that would position Noor Spa and the hotel’s wellness facilities to stand out among the competitive set. The guest journey along with the marketing and engagement strategy we developed to create a differentiated offering for hotel guests but also spa and fitness members within the city ensuring relaxation and rejuvenation at every touchpoint. 

THE OUTCOME

Noor Spa will bring world-class spa and wellness experiences to the heart of Kuwait and is expected to open in Q3 2022 along with the launch of the hotel.
